This fun and engaging workshop explore the many forms of risky behaviour that young people may engage in, including underage sex, experimenting with alcohol, and using social media to produce or exchange indecent images (sexting.)

Students are encouraged to consider factors that influence their decisions when it comes to risky behaviour, including peer pressure and emotive situations, and the way that these influences can be managed.

This fun and engaging workshop explore the many forms of risky behaviour that young people may engage in, including underage sex, experimenting with alcohol, and using social media to produce or exchange indecent images (sexting.)

Students are encouraged to consider factors that influence their decisions when it comes to risky behaviour, including peer pressure and emotive situations, and the way that these influences can be managed.

There is a focus on the ways that our social media reputation have can a negative impact on others areas of life, for example, becoming a barrier to employment or further education opportunities and the potential legal consequences in cases of online bullying and harassment, posting of homophobic, racist or extremist comments and the impact of ‘sexting’ incidents being investigated under child sexual offences legislation.

This workshop explores the ways we can minimise risks to ourselves and others and explore ways of keeping themselves safe when they are socialising at parties, travelling in cars driven by other young drivers and using social media.
